Star Wars Battlefront

It is one of the most anticipated game of the year, but the wait is over. The game has been launched on 17th-19th November across Gen 4 consoles(Xbox one and PS 4) and PC.

Genres: First person shooter Game, Third person Shooter game

Beta of the game:   The beta offered up two multiplayer maps with slightly different objectives, aimed at giving you a taster of what’s to come when the full game launches on November 17.

Gameplay of the game:

The Missions are a great way to get into Star Wars: Battlefront. It’ll introduce you to the game’s Cards system without you having to unlock them all. You’ll get immediate access to the jetpack boost jump, with options to try out either a defensive or offensive card deck.

You always get a set of three cards, with the fourth slot retained for any floating blue power-up discs you find mid-battle, which can unlock extra-powerful weapons or other perks.
As there are only six waves in this Mission, it can be over very quickly if you’re good. And especially if you’re playing solo. It got to the point where I could get through the whole Mission without losing a life, because the enemies always came from the same directions. It becomes very predictable, with the gameplay only varying if you pick up a co-op partner along the way.
This makes the combat a lot more complex and you’ll have more enemies to contend with. You’ll also share your lives with your partner, so it’s very likely you’ll want to help them stay alive.

Despite my usual affiliation with single-player, all the goodness of Star Wars: Battlefront lies in the multiplayer – to the point you’ll find yourself forgetting there are even Missions at all.
In the beta there are two maps available – Drop Zone on Sullust and and Walker Assault on Hoth.
The game recommends you start off with the Sullust map. It’s only got two teams of eight players, so it’s a lot less frenzied than the 20-vs-20 mayhem that is the Hoth map.
Drop Zone requires you to find and defend escape pods that are crashing down from space. The team that defends five pods first wins, or whoever has the most when the timer has counted 10 minutes.
